How do I sign in?
With your email. We send you a code; you type it in. There's no password to remember. You can also use Sign in with Apple.
What's a session?
Someone saying "padel, Thursday 7pm, Dbayeh, two spots left". You join it. That's a session.
How does joining work?
Tap Join. If the host approves joins, you're in once they say yes; otherwise you're in straight away. If the session is full the button says "Join waitlist". When someone leaves, the first person waiting is moved in automatically — the app can't notify you yet, so check back, and leave the waitlist if your plans change — more than a day ahead if you can: inside the last day the app still counts leaving the waitlist as a late drop-out. The session's chat is open to everyone in it from the start.
What does "Reliable" mean?
You turn up when you say you will. Everyone starts at 100; turning up adds, dropping out late or not showing subtracts. It shows as a word, never a score, and only after a few sessions.
I can't make it any more.
Leave the session. With more than a day to go, that's free. With less than a day, it counts as a late drop-out — still far better than not showing up.
What's the day-before confirm?
When you open the app within a day of a session you've joined, it asks "Still coming?". Tap "I'm in" so the others know the spot is real. If you can't make it, tap "Can't make it" — by then it counts as a late drop-out, which is still far better than not showing. The app can't send reminders yet, so open it the day before.
How do I say hi to someone?
From their profile. You get one hi per person, ever, and five a day. If they accept, you can message each other. If they ignore it, you won't hear back — take that as the answer.
Who can I message?
People you share a session with, and people who accepted your hi (or whose hi you accepted).
What does blocking do?
You and that person stop seeing each other — profiles, search, lists, direct messages, and each other's messages in a session. They aren't told. It doesn't take anyone out of a session you've both already joined: if you host, open the session, tap Players and remove them — and block them too, because a removed person can join again; if you don't host, leave the session or tell the host.
How do I report someone?
Their profile → ⋯ → Report, and pick a reason. Do it before you block them — a blocked profile is hidden from you. To say what happened in your own words, or to hear back, email safety@sweatch.app. See the safety page.
How do I delete my account?
Settings → Account & security → Delete account. It's immediate. It removes your account and everything in it. A session you were hosting with others in it is handed to the person who joined first, with its details.
What's "Take a break"?
It hides your profile until you sign in again. Your sessions stay up, without your name or photo. Nothing is deleted.
Does Sweatch take payments?
No. If a session costs something, the host says so and you pay the venue or the host directly.
